Drama
Grades 10, 11 and 12
The RND dramatic arts program is a dynamic program that explores a variety of dramatic forms and techniques. In the junior grades, students study elements of drama such as tableau, mime, movement, voice, character and script work. Many of the skills acquired in drama (e.g. collaboration, self-confidence, organization, etc.) can be transferred to personal, social and career contexts. In upper grades students will create, perform, discuss and analyze drama, and then reflect on the experiences to develop an understanding of themselves, the art form and the world around them.
