Dear families,
Last week the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board received notice that the Ministry of Education is requiring school boards to distribute paper-based report cards for all students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. The Ministry of Education is making this change to ensure that all families have direct access to information about their child’s progress and achievement.
Paper copies will be provided to students for the June reporting period. These will be provided in paper copy in addition to electronic versions.
Schools will provide school-specific details on report card distribution this week.
Secondary schools will continue with the current approach of distributing electronic report cards and ensuring a paper copy is available upon request by the parent/guardian.
